The Brand

Project Pet is a family-owned business created to ensure the “One Health” approach to understanding the interconnection between people, animals, and the environment plays a larger role in changing outcomes for underserved communities. Their mission is to raise the standard of care for people, their pets, and environment by working with animals to have conversations that transcend socioeconomic boundaries and make changes for marginalized people.

The Task

In addition to my copywriting and marketing design roles on several projects with ProjectPet, I was required to create a page for the “One Health” program. These also included the email subscription dialogue and events page.

The Design Decision

After much iteration and feedback from Project Pet’s customers and my Project manager, I settled for a heavy typeface which was supposed to highlight the One Health brand. The use of consistent cards and bold text in some blocs is to increase accessibility and fit the overall Project Pet vision.

Initially, the “One Health” page was an empty state

Reflection

I had a great time learning more about the pet industry and pet families while working on this project. I hope to keep iterating.
