Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I was working with different authors from all parts of the world editing manuscripts (across genres) and designing book layouts, and literary projects. Angie was one of such authors whom I had worked with.
The pandemic struck. & then the world paused. But poetry continued. Our joys flourished and somehow we wanted to stay afloat in this chaos that took the world by surprise.
With thousands of miles between Lagos and London, we’d spend the next few months exchanging poems and essays over Zoom, emails, and phone calls. This camaraderie became my second book and today a world-class teaching instruction book for poetry lovers and readers, storytellers, artists, language enthusiasts, and teachers of poetry from all parts of the globe.
