Kehinde Badiru is a UX Writer, Content & Product designer, and Poet who received a Creative Writing MFA Degree from St. Mary’s College of California. He is the author of a self-published memoir, and two collections of poetry—I Know Why Your Mother Cries, & An Assortment of Poetry Genres, co-edited with British poet, Angie Andrews.

Kehinde’s writing has also appeared in Visual Verse, Roosevelt University’s Oyez Review, RiskPress Anthology, and forthcoming elsewhere. Additionally, he founded WriteNowLit, a multigenre literary journal that is home to writers from diverse backgrounds. Kehinde served as Editor-in-Chief for MARY journal, and as the recipient of a Teaching Fellowship, works as a Writing Circle Facilitator at the SMC Writing Center.

Beyond the written word, he finds joy in the beauty of memory, dreams, visual design, and smoothjazz and new age music. Kehinde has received a RiskPress Fellowship and the prestigious ‘Brenda Hillman Award’ for 2023, presented to a writer for their outstanding creative work and community spirit.

Kehinde lives in Northern California, is currently completing some writing projects, including, short stories, writes for digital products, and continues to inspire students and budding writers to write to the world and tell their stories.
